CHIMES presentations at the SHIP International Conference 2011

The bienniel SHIP International Conference 'Exploiting Existing Data for Health Research' was held 9-11 September 2011, at the University of St Andrews.

The four CHIMES PhD students gave presentations outlining their research projects and recent results.

 

Yvonne Hopf's presentation was entitled: Data Linkage for Paediatric Pharmacovigilance: Views from Scottish Caldicott Guardians Hopf YM, Bond CB, Haughney J, Helms PJ

Emma Scobie-Scott presented - Is the use of linked routinely acquired NHS data for pharmacovigilance in children acceptable to parents and young people? Emma Scobie-Scott, Professor Christine Bond, Professor Peter Helms

Brad Kirby presented - Data Linkage for Pharmacovigilance Brad Kirby, Colin Simpson, Peter Helms, Marion Bennie, Rachael Wood, Mary Sweetland and James McLay 

Angela Sun presented - Paediatric Pharmacovigilance: Signal generation from linked NHS administrative data. Sun PC, Black C, Helms PJ and McLay JS
